Day in the life of a 'Suchana' MUA for London Fashion Week

Hi Guys! What gorgeous weather we've having lately.. It looks like Spring is well and truly here :) It's been a while since I've blogged but things have been busy, busy, busy! Today's post is all about my behind the scene and being an assistant to Suchana Makeup artist for the Pakistan Fashion Show for London Fashion Week! Yep! lol somehow I landed in assisting the lovely Suchana at her gig and it was fantastic! The gorgeous Models in the beautiful clothes on the night.  I know everyone gives stick to makeup artist's these days saying they are a dime a dozen but that's such a negative way to look at these amazingly hardworking individual's. I completely salute these girls who a lot of times are full time mums as Suchana. Many have full time/part-time jobs and do this as a passion whilst working long gruelling hours with heavy cases of make-up & hair styling equipment to lug around along. This occupation also comes with very early starts a...

Revlon Grow luscious Mascara Reviewed!

Hi Lovelies! It looks like Autumn is truly upon us!  The day's are getting shorter and colder which means for me there's less hours in the day to fit my crazy, busy life ... I know it has been a while since I've had a chance to blog with the kids back to school demands etc taking up all my spare time lol but today I thought I would try and squeeze in a very quick post about a mascara that I previously wrote off as being not so great and actually I've changed my mind big time.. This isn't something that happens very often BUT what can I say even us blogger's can get it wrong from time to time ;)) So the Mascara in question today is the ' Revlon Grow Luscious ™ Mascara  which is 1 of the newer mascara's from Revlon. This Mascara is being marketed as a revolutionary new twist on a traditional mascara's and this is what it say's on the 'Boot's' website: **Revlon introduces a revolution in mascara with Grow Luscious Mascar...

'Too Faced' Tinted Beauty Balm Review!

Too-Faced-Tinted-Beauty-Balm £24.50 Hellooo lovely ladies ! and maybe some gent's! today I'm doing a another review of a new addition to my 'Brown Girl's' beauty find's.  This is the latest BB cream purchased, which I'm really excited about and couldn't wait to share with you all.... The sun was shinning over the weekend and it made me feel like we are slowly creeping towards spring and needing  a bit of colour on our winter skin... Ohh la! la!! So this is my very 1st product review for the brand 'Too Faced'!  and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this Beauty Balm!  I ha d been eyeing this and the 'Smashbox BB Cream' at the larger Boot's store for a while and had tried  both on my face in store and actually liked the feel and consistency of the 'Too Faced' Beauty Balm as I found that the Smashbox BB Cream gave a more flat finish where as this gave a more natural luminous...

Friends with Benefits!

Who doesn't love getting something for nothing and I'm no different lol This is a very quick post my beaut y lic ious ladies about some vouchers that came through the post from 'Boots' The Chemist.... Seeing that I have a weakness for all things make-up and to save more then a few pennies I decided to try a different method of shopping where I can try and shop at no cost and hopefully use up some of  those reward point vouchers tha t I 've mentioned above . This month the lovely people from B oots sent me the usual double points voucher (which can be used twice, no matter how much you are spending)   A half price voucher for sunnies either from Boots Optician or from Dollond & Aitchison Opticians. Perfect for the coming summer ! A lovely £5.00 off voucher for a No7 Mascara and a few others for toothpaste and other toileteries , which should come in handy...   All valid until the 9th of June which gives me plenty of time to have a look aro...

Bobbi Brown BB Cream Review

Not so great BB! What does a woman do when her favourite tinted moisturiser's not available in the shade she loves?  She does the most obvious and looks for an answer in her other favourite brand  'Bobb i Brown'. But nooo what a disappointment !   Bobb i Brown let herself down in a big way with this and its going to upset some people that I'm saying this but for me this particular 'BB Cream' was a major flop.... boo hoo So what is a BB Cream I hear you say ?  Well for the people who don't know yet and I'm sure there aren't that many people left who haven't heard of this cult product which had taken over for some as an alternative to foundations/tinted moisturiser 's here in the UK .  BB Cream stands for Blemish Balm . Has its origins in German Pharma ceutica l (which is supposed to moisturise, heal, protect, give coverage with SPF) and ha s been a staple in Asia for a number of y ears and has been...

Dr Hauschka's Daily Face Care Review

Most people will tell you that the foundation to great skin is to find the best skin care routine that suits your skin type and to stick to it religiously and they wouldn't be wrong...  But usually finding the right skincare product that suits you is the first hurdle and if you have difficult temperamental skin then it can be a nightmare and cost a fortune at the same time..... In my search for that elusive hero skincare regime I had heard and read of a range called 'Dr Hauschka's' but never got around to trying out until very recently.  This is my product review of the 'Daily Face Care' kit that I have been using.... All products within this kit have been tried and tested on myself for the last 7 days. One of the main reasons I went for this particular range of products is that I liked their holistic and natural approach to skin care.  I find that as I'm getting older I am a lot more selective about what I'm putting on my skin a...
